Sorry to hear things haven't been going smoothly.
I had a tough first year as well with life threatening disease in my flock, it felt like trial by fire, I nearly threw in the towel on it all. But I treated it as a huge learning experience and came out of it more knowledgeable, a better steward to my flock. So hang in there, it gets better!
