My name is Miranda and wanted to introduce myself here
1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
New to chickens! Currently incubating my first eggs, on day 15 right now.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
0 - 11 eggs in incubator hoping for a hatch of at least 6 chicks
(3) What breeds do you have?
Barnyard mixes
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I am excited to have new animals to spend time with and learn all their quirks.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Laser art, leather work, cooking and gardening.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Me and my partner have 2 cats and one dog, currently unemployed but hoping to be working at a low stress job where I can make enough to keep my hobbies afloat.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Many google searches! I figured I should join and contribute to the conversations.
