Hi all, I have been reading these posts for years but just made an account today. Here are my answers to the standard questions.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Have had chickens since 2012
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 4 hens and 1 Pekin duck
(3) What breeds do you have? White Leghorn and PBRx?? crosses
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Their sweet temperament and food source independence
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Sewing, living history demonstrations, finding ways to create domestic supply chains for critical items
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have a cat named Charlie who sits in all the chairs in my house
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
