Want to say hello to everyone! I live in Western PA. I've had chickens for over 10 years and I have enjoyed them up till the last year or so. The flock I have now just stopped laying over the past year and a half no matter what I do so I decided to join to try to find some help!

The younger ones are red sex link and blue eggers - they are less than 2 years old.

We let our flock free range to greatly reduce the feed they eat. The age of our birds (RIR, Barred Rock mix) range from 7mos to 3 years.

We recently experienced the same problem when we changed the feed company we get our feed. The new feed company was a little closer and cheaper.

The egg production slowly decreased so, we didn't know what it was a first. One week after going back to our original feed supplier, the chickens started laying regularly again.

Both companies provide organic soy free feed, so we figured our original feed company had better quality ingredients. We do not plan on switching again.
