Hi, all! I'm a new member. I have my own backyard flock: twenty-something chickens, ten geese, a pair of ducks, and a lone guinea who is the only survivor from an original group of ten...

I'm mostly here because I've turned my love of chickens into a new romantic comedy book (Love & Chickens), coming soon, and hoping to network/build more of an author presence prior to release day. I'm also in search of some fellow "chicken people" who would be willing to read an ARC (advance reader copy) and provide early pre-release reviews. I'm hoping to make a post about this in whatever category is most appropriate.

I'm also eager to research coop design, because we are re-locating our flock from a horse stall in the barn to a separate structure of their own. The structure is built, but needs to be done inside, so looking for inspiration.
