Newbie in all things chicken! I found this site when I lived in Blue Springs, Mo but couldn’t have chickens there due to city ordinances. We moved out to the country and are on about 17.5 acres almost here now. We bought the property with an existing large coope and run all fenced and covered. Now looking for chickens and have been studying everything! We want Dual purpose birds. Haven’t decided on breeds, or how many we want yet.
