As a new backyard chicken enthusiast, I've been using this website for my information for a few weeks and it's been tremendously helpful. My husband spent part of his growing up years on his grandparent's farm. Taking care of the chickens was one of his responsibilities. Now I am finally ready to keep chickens and I am wondering why I waited so long. Only had them since March, but they are remarkably low maintenance as far as livestock goes. And I enjoy learning something new.
