Welcome. I am sorry for your loss. I agree with @janiedoe. Every single deterrent will have it's limits. Hawks are very smart and strategic. After a hawk attacked my rooster (I had all of the deterrents) - I was only 30-feet away (he didn't get hurt), I got really mad and built a really big run. The walls of the run are hardware cloth with hardware cloth aprons, the ceilings are either metal, polycarbonate, or hawk netting.
