Hello!! I'm new to the chicken community. My name is Kayla. My husband and I, along with our 2 children live in southern oregon. This is our first year as chicken parents, and so far, we love it!! We currently have a flock of 11, but I'm always looking for more lol 
I come out every day to sit with my feathered babies, and could spend hours with them.
I started my flock with 5 in April. 2 buff orpington hens (Ellie-Mae and Chickie), a blue cuckoo maran (Lucy), and 2 white silkie roosters (Diablo and Zeus).
In July, I added 3 more silkie mixes, a hen named Bitzy and 2 roosters, Timmy and Sparks. (Yes, i have far too many roosters lol)
Mid September, I added 3 more, 2 are frizzle mixes, and I'm not sure about the third one. They haven't been named yet, because I'm unsure of the sexes at this time.
I found this group by doing a Google search, and it seems like a great place to be. I'm looking forward to being here, and thank you for having me!
