Hello, new member here to introduce myself..
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We've had chickens for about a year now, so fairly new to the chicken world.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Right now we have 10 ladies and 1 rooster
(3) What breeds do you have? Barnyard mix .. Well summers, Americana, Mystic Onyx, Easter Eggers
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Having eggs available and thier just fun.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Lots of things we like to do, but mostly reading, gardening and crafting
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We are a growing family of three with my husband, myself and our daughter. In addition to our flock we have our Billie Jean dog. My husband is in construction and I am a stay at home momma and we are just a small little homestead learning something new everyday trying to be good stewards of what we have.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
