Welcome to BYC!
I’m with @janiedoe. That black and white frizzle is a cutie.
Congratulations on your first egg!
That is the best way to introduce them! I built a what I call an introduction / finishing pen inside our secure run. They have been in there for about a month. I opened the door let let them out with the other birds this am. That was the easiest intro ever here! Barely a peck here and there!Welcome to BYC! I think you have a couple of my frizzle boys in that picture...its okay, you can keep them.
Good luck with your pullet. I hope she pulls through and is able to fit in with your flock. When you are ready to reintroduce her, use the see, don't touch method for a week or two.
Its a shame that beauty is only skin deep.Alas, the black and white frizzle is definitely on the cull list as he did the most damage to Betty. Yes, the injured girl is the only one with a name as of yet.
The other frizzle seems to be top dog but not the a-hole that his brother is.
I'll just mention that we've had some be just like that, and even mean to us. We now wait a year before making rash decisions on ours as some of them could be showing the standards for SOP, or close. Most grow out of it. Out of a dozen, maybe one doesn't.Alas, the black and white frizzle is definitely on the cull list as he did the most damage to Betty.
