New to BYC. I have 18 hens and 1 rooster. John Wayne is the newest member of the flock and the ladies weren’t very receptive to his homecoming. I have a variety of breeds with a variety of personalities. I sit in the coop with them often so they know I’m not a threat. They will come to me and sit on my lap as soon as I sit down. My Black Jersey Giant , Dominique and Colombian Wyandotte are the friendliest. I joined BYC to become more knowledgeable and a better chicken mama
