Hello

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.

won’t eat pellets or crumble
Stop feeding what you are feeding them. It does not look like an appropriate feed for chickens. Just put out an all flock type of pellet or crumble and fresh water and nothing else. They WILL eat it if they have nothing else. It may take time.

Hi, curious what the ingredients are in the feed you're giving them. @SilverBirds has asked some good questions. I agree with @DobieLover that once they only have the proper poultry feed available, they will eat it. And as others have suggested, you can try wet feed.

Best wishes!

Hiya, and welcome to BYC! :frow

I agree with switching them to just a layer feed or an all-flock (with oyster shell on the side) feed, pellets or crumbles. Then try wetting it as suggested. We do that most days, and they act like it's a treat. We only give them scrambled eggs for a treat once in a while. Rarely, some noodles or food scraps that would be healthy for them.

This avoids problems down the road, such as illness, slowing or stopping laying, or even early death.
