Hello! I am Kk and I've had chickens for a 3 to 4 years by now, but recently we resuced 2 chickens not knowing they had some fleas and different diseases that we have never treated and known about. That opened our world to trying to know everything we can to possibly take care of our chickens, so that's why I'm here! We got 6 beautiful fat chickens that we have in our backyard. You might know me a little bit already because one of my rescue chickens is not looking to well right now, but I'm excited to be in this community, I hope I can learn more and have some fun while at it.
(And yes we treated the fleas and everything else on our two rescue chickens, and we are currently taking care of our current chicken that's not doing to well right now)

Hi again, KK.

If you can pick up some Permethrin/garden dust or spray, that works great for mites and lice. I'd do the chickens and the entire coop including nest boxes. Repeat this in a week to 10 days, and that should do it!

How some do the chickens is to put some of that powder in a tube sock and pat the chicken all over with it, making sure to get their butt and under their wings too.
