- Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
- Not entirely- my family has had various farm animals, including chickens at different times. I'm starting my own flock this year, so I'm starting to learn more of the intricacies of chicken keeping now.
- How many chickens do you have right now?
- 4 hens, hatched beginning of June.
- What breeds do you have?
- 1 Opal Legbar, 1 Buff Brahma, 2 Silver-Laved Chocolate Orpingtons.
- What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
- Learning their personalities, raising them, and building stuff for them.
- What are some of your other hobbies?
- Art (illustrations, digital painting), TTRPG worldbuilding, carpentry, hobby collecting.
- Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
- There are colony cats around my place, some are named. I work as a QE at a small automotive plant, specializing in our ERP system and the DCS. Messing with Excel/Google Spreadsheets and formatting documents is fun to me.

- Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
- It cropped up when I first started researching quail keeping a few years back (I'm still interested, but ended up going with chickens as my first step), but finally decided to join now so I can better research stuff for my flock.
