Hello everyone! I live in Montana, and we have kept chickens for many years. We are currently down to about 9 grown chickens as we have been selling them off, and we have 30+ chicks. We used to raise turkeys for butcher but have not done so in years. We have multiple different breeds including Rhode Island Red, Speckled Sussex, Black Australorp, Cream Legbars, Red Sexlink, Black Sexlink, and the list goes on. We also have multiple chicks of varied varieties, some of which are Jersey Giants. I am looking forward to watching them grow! We have a batch of Cornish Cross chicks that are about four weeks out from Freezer Camp as well!
We live in Montana so we are all about everything outdoors. Hunting, fishing, and loving every day about sums it up. I am retired from my primary career but now help others as a safety and firearms consultant / trainer. We have horses, sheep, and a cat who works hard to keep the field mice at bay. Also, I may or may not be directly related to one of your active members who encouraged me to join.
