Thanks everyone for the warm Welcome!
No chickens yet but want a few.
We had ducks for years and really enjoyed them.
Our home is filled with pets and we raise pugs.
We have never attended the swap meet in Kankakee but wanted to this spring. Is it still held at the fairgrounds?
We are looking for about 6 hens any suggestions on the type we should get??? Thanks Donna

Welcome. You will find a lot of help here. Ask and someone will usually be there to help very quickly. As for the chicken suggestions get ready for a page full. We all have our favorites. Are you looking for egg production, meat birds, friendly pets? I like leghorns and Delawares myself, but I am hatching out some silkies, EE's, and showgirls right now. Have a blessed day.
