Hi, I've been lurking on the forums for a few months now. Already getting a lot of great info! We have 6 chicks that we got third hand after several months of campaigning by our now 5 year old. We're really enjoying them and are hard at work on a portable run and coop. Our major concern now (aside from one chick in isolation because of plucking) is the number of roosters we might have in our little flock. We are constantly examining, discussing and worrying over it! Our little guy is going to be pretty sad when anyone has to be rehomed! Not to mention we hope we CAN rehome them! I may have to post some pictures and get some expert opinions on breed and gender of our chicks. Thanks!
