Hi! I am a stay at home mom to a beautiful 10 month old little girl and wife to an amazing hubby who has consented to let me get chickens! I have a Black Labrador Retriever and 3 cats. I don't have chickens yet, but am planning on ordering chicks by mid-March (we're waiting on approval from the landlord to get chickens and build a coop). I am hoping to end up with around 20 layers and 15-20 fryers. I'm really excited!! My brother had chickens at one point, but I didn't have much to do with them... I would like to eventually raise chicks from my hens... we'll see...
