I've been reading on here and there for a while. I started raising ducks for the first time last summer and some of the good information on here helped me get started. I like the "homey" feel to this forum more than any other. I raise fish and vegetables and just expanded into poultry. I live just east of Dallas, tx. I'm a pediatric nurse by trade, but had worked in manufacturing for years before deciding on a career change, so I have a little mechanical expertise to call on.

I am also a fish person, currently have fresh and brackish tanks and a couple of small ponds. I have found this group of people to be quite friendly and informative.
