Hello everyone!
I've been reading this and similar forums on and off for a while now but finally decided to register, this really is a great resource and community.
My wife and I live in House Springs, Missouri about 40 minutes south west of St. Louis city. We moved here last fall and have about 15 acres of mostly wooded land to play with. We started raising 6 ducks (2 welsh harlequins, 2 black swedish, a buff and a black runner) we ordered as day olds from Metzer last summer and have been getting delicious eggs from them and endless hours of entertainment watching and interacting with them.
Today we received six Sebastopol geese eggs through the mail that we'll be attempting to hatch! Our first time hatching, wish us luck! We plan on getting some guineas to hatch this year as well.
