HI Everyone,
My name is Renae. I live in Colorado with my husband and 4 children and so many animals it is hard to count. I am so glad that I found this website--it makes me glad I am not the only chicken lover around. The family is not as thrilled with them as I am. I live with 12 sebastopol geese, 4 royal palm turkeys, 15 egg layers of various breeds, and 4 polish crested bantams(3 frizzled), 2 russian orloff bantams, 5 seramas, 15 silkies, 2 sizzles, and 2 showgirls. Maybe the family is right and I am a bit excessive but they are great to have around. Now for the none feathered creatures, we have 5 dogs, 3 cats, 2 horses, 1 mini horse, 2 dwarf goats, and 2 suri alpacas. All of these guys are mainly pets since I don't sell eggs but give them to neighbors and the fiber from the alpacas go to the shearer in trade for the shearing since I am not a knitter. When we have time , the family goes camping, boating, and hiking. We are outdoors whenever it is possible. That's about if for now--off to do a few chores.
