I have been looking at this site since I started thinking about getting chickens, and finally decided to get an account. When I first started with chickens I had just changed the ordinance in our town to allow 12 chickens. We have since moved, and I am now up to 50 chickens (not including my 5 guineas), two goats, 1 dexter heifer, 3 bunnies, and our original 3 dogs.
Getting to this point has been a challenge but it is completely worth it. Backyard Chickens has been an invaluable resource.
