My name is Adam and my wife Elizabeth and I have started a fun new adventure of raising a backyard flock and trying our hand at basic homesteading. We built our coop with recycled free lumber and I move it a couple times a week. We have 2 wyandottes (silver, Gold), 2 Easter eggers ( may be roos), and a Bard rock (bantam) all about 5 months old, none laying and we have a Black Australorp and a RIR that are about 9 weeks or so. Its been great fun so far and I'm hooked. Not sure the feelings of this on this site but I do plan on raising meat birds when it warms up a little more.
