Hello. My name is Carole, I live in Plymouth, England, married, no children, 'Mummy' to 3 hens (Henrietta (Barnvelder), Daisy (Marsh Daisy x Light Columbian Brahma Bantum) and Clementine (rare Citrus Campine) and to 6 cats!
We did have 2 other beautiful girls, Georgina (Barnvelder) and Alice (Australorp), but a badger took our lovely Georgina and a couple of weeks ago, a maurading dog (totally out of control and vicious with strangers, escaped from its garden), murdered our darling Alice. I took Alice to the vet for her to actually be put so sleep since her injuries were unsurvivable. This left Henrietta as devastated as we were. We could not stand to see her so forlorn, so got her two new 'sisters'. She's happy again. so that helps us recover from the loss of Alice.
Stephen, the other half, and I both have disabilities. His due to a stroke at 42 and mine thanks to a drunken driver when I was in the RAF and aged 21.
