My name is Layla. I had a beautiful small flock many years ago. This year, my husband built me a fabulous chicken coop and last week I acquired 12 new babies!
It is a mixed bunch. Black Australorp, Buff Orpington, Americanas, Mottled Houdans, Cuckoo Marans, Buttercup, and assorted Polishes.
I am planning on doing some breeding hoping that one of my st. run Polishes is a rooster.

Besides chickens, my dear husband and I have a 13 year old human boy and 4 yr old human girl. Oh and 3 German Shepherds, 1 border collie/pit bull, 4 cats and several HUGE gardens!

I am passionate about horticulture/agriculture and sustainable organic farming!
