Just a quick hello to all the knowledgeable people out there that use this site. I've been a meer visitor for the past few months whilst gathering some useful research and view points on the pros and cons of keeping chooks.
Needless to say I'm now well into the process of building our first coop (based on the Witchita Coop) for our first bunch of hens (3-4 Peking Banthams or Silkis - the jury's still out).
Looking forward to learning from you all and getting our first batch of fresh eggs from the girls.
