Hi, my name is Jan. I originally wanted a few chickens for eggs and somehow ended up with 30! Mostly foghorns. I check this site everytime I have a chicken related question, as my chicken knowledge is limited, so I thought I'd join.

I'm hooked lol. Love my girls. Thanks to this site I managed to get my broody hen (3 clutches of eggs in 6 months,) with 8 day old chicks to take an 2 day old orphan who's mother died before anymore of the eggs hatched. I'm not sure what breed she is, but she's black or dark brown with light tan/brown 'spots'

Yeah probably lol. I just call them foghorns coz he was my fave cartoon character haha.
