Hi folks! I'm mark, from small town central California, chickens are illegal here so that's all I'm saying..This is a small ag town & I know from my early morning walks that there are a lot of chickens in town, I don't have the patience to try to change the laws. The chicken laws kept me from getting chickens for quite a few years but no more. My wife & I are long time veggie gardeners.& have recently decided to add a few chickens to the mix so 8 weeks ago we purchased 2 SLW & 2 GLW day old chicks. So far it looks like all are pullets, which is what we requested .We placed them out in their chicken tractor at approx 5 weeks, all are well.
Anyway I've been reading the forums for several weeks now, have learned a great deal. Just wanted to take a moment to say Hi.
