Hi! I am a mother of an 8 week old baby boy, two precious pups, a cat, and four lovely hens. I am not new to having backyard chicks, my girls are 2 years old as of April of this year. I am joining now because I have some new questions that I'd like to get some folks opinion who have been raising chickens longer than I. I am a vegetarian, and do not of course eat my hens, I have them strictly for laying unfertilized eggs.
