Hi I am Amber,
I have an amazing man that tolerates my mini farm and I am a proud mother to 2 great boys,53 chicks, 6 ducks, 6 guinea keat, 3 goats, one dog, a cat, some gold fish, and the boys just brought in a frog & an inchworm (but I think those will go back). I jumped into BYC asking for help with a duck problem and didn't introduce myself properly. OOOPS.

Hi my wife and I are new here and just started to raise chickens this spring. Trying to learn all we can. Right now we have 4 white Leghorn, 3 reds, 3 bards and 4 buffs. Buffs being the only roo we have right now. We are planning on more bards with a roo and some Wyandotte's too . We also have 3 bronze turks. Any advice??

Both of you.

Sounds like you did some homework. Our first year we got a lot of chicks on a whim from Tractor supply of coarse he had to buy the cheapest and we ended up with a yard full of roosters attaching everyone they could. My two boys would carry their foam baseball bats just to get into the car. Needless to say we had no tears shed on butcher day. We have now done much more homework and got more docile

roosters to tend to our layers. Things are much more peaceful on the farm now. I haven't had turkeys since I was young so I am afraid I am not any help on that.

My best advice Secure the coop & have fun.
