Just joining this site, although I have been flipping through it for the last year. We started raising chickens last year. We bought Reds and then build a nice coop and run. Then a few months later added a couple Jersey Giants. We added to the coop and flock this year. I got a mix this year, araconas, another jersey giant, barred rocks, and golden laced wyandottes. They are now just about fully feathered and there colors are beautiful!!! I really enjoy chickens a lot and hope some day to have a small barn.
