Just joined! I have a mixed breed flock of 14 hens that are 7 weeks old. I an a vet tech and yesterday with a surgeon I work with neutered my freebie chick, a golden laced Wyandotte. He is doing great and I will keep you posted on how he matures. This was done as he will be a pet. Have seen some negative comments on this forum about this topic but I had nothing to lose doing it and he will stay with us.
