Hello Everyone! I recently became a new chicken owner a little over two weeks ago. I purchased two buff orps, a golden laced wyandotte, and a golden comet chick. I'm looking forward to this new experience VERY much as I have always wanted to own chickens but was unable to as my family raised turkeys under contract and other fowl were not allowed on the farm. I can't wait to start exploring BYC more!!

Welcome to BYC from Wisconsin. Don't know anything about comets.. but Orps and wyandottes are great chickens to have. Good choices.
