I started on BYC a few weeks ago - a friend of mine got me started with some of her beautiful eggs! Blue columbian brahma, blue partridge brahma, silver pencilled blue brahma, bbs brahma, and hedemoras. I ordered a few online to try shipped eggs too. Two days ago they started hatching and still going! I now have 17 new babies and six more pipping now. Great information from these forums and the learning center!!

Wow, your friend got you started with very good breeds/varieties. As a greeter I often see people asking where they can find such birds.

Once you have 20 posts you can advertise on the BYC buy, sell, trade forum.

Thank you! They are very strong peeps. Very healthy stock! The mail orders are bc marans cream legbars and one bresse that survived so far! It will be a good variety. I'm just glad I didn't mess up the incubation!!!
