Hi all
Name is Laura, I am in CA.
Currently I do not have any birds, but we used to have a few birds when my kids where in 4-H. I am considering keeping a few hens again, no rush, have to decide on what I want, and need to decide where to build coop and get stuff togther. So mainly just researching right now.
In the past we have had Easter Egg, Naked Necks, Polish, Rhode Island Red, and a Jungle Bird. The Rhode Island Red was my daughter's 4-H show bird and a ribbon winner.
I discovered BackYardChickens.com via Facebook.
Married, I am a grandma, employed, have 2 dogs and 3 cats (most recent was dumped poor kitty had never been outside before, he is adjusting).
