Thanks for such a quick welcome! I'm in Southern California. Have four beautiful hens and this is my second year raising them. So much fun!

I was born in S. Cali before my family moved up to Washington when I was very little. What breed of hens do you have? We have 29 chicks and this is my fist time since being a kids having chickens. I don't remember out chickens as a kid every being chicks. I was too young or we bought adults somewhere. lol

I have a mix of chicks from the local feed store. So far I have just loved watching them. They are so entertaining. I knew I liked chickens but I didn't know I would like them so much lol!!

If you are in your 2nd year you are an experience chick Mom to me. I can't wait for the first egg.
