standard. I used to have 4 polish (buff laced), but I realized the breed was hard to keep and skittish. Barred rocks are by far my favorite. I've had chickens for about five years now, but please don't see me as inexperienced. I show every year and have come across many situations that beginner chickeners never experience. I've always got my nose in a chicken book, learning as much as I can. I've even saved a bird who was egg bound by massaging her in a warm bath of epsom salt and then drying her and placing her in a quiet, dark place. She is recovered, and now one of my pet chickens. Her name is Vanita. I love chickens, though not more than GOD, and I hope to have some for the rest of my earthly life. i hope you feel the same!
