My name is Lisa and I live in Cookeville, TN. I am a new chicken owner as of 10 weeks ago. I have a White Crested Black Polish Bantam that I have adopted. My friend ordered some hens from McMurray Hatchery and this was the "bonus" chicken. The others were pecking it unmercifully so I took it home with me. I am really hoping that it is a hen so the neighbors won't complain, but I think I may be in trouble. He/she is the sweetest little chicken and loves to nap under my chin.
