you've gotten a lot of good advice hope she decides to use the nesting box. But, there are worse behaviors than hers - some hens will lay eggs while they are on the roost and of course they fall off and break - which starts another bad problem - egg eating. Really I would pick your hen over those any day.

I am so happy to report that we found her newest egg inside the nesting box!!! Now she can teach the other when 2 girls when they begin laying!!
