I just joined this site and have my very first solo group of chicks. My dad and I co-own 9 awesome and loving red/black sex links that are one almost two years old. Now I have a set of six white leghorn pulet's that are 4 weeks old, one white leghorn pullet that is 3 weeks old, and 3 brand new buff orpington pullets that are almost a week old. I would love all the advice I could receive because I am kind of winging it her and all my past chickens have been sex links and out of all the chickens we've had I've only lost this one white leghorn (first non-sex link I've owned.) So I guess you can say since I am 21 I'm experimentin with new different breeds. Thanks for reading and hopefully I'll make some acquaintances on this site.
