Hi.. This is all new to me. This is my first time having chickens. Looking for lots of good info and also have some questions that I can't find on the web.

Isa Browns are a great choice. Isa Brown is one of a number of labels under which some hatcheries market their Red Sex Links, and they are laying machines. You should get loads of eggs from those girls.I have 12 isa browns.
You need to get some Blue Kote Wound Dressing and put on the wounded area. Not only will it promote healing and protect the area, but the terrible taste of the Blue Kote will discourage the other chicks from pecking at the wounded area. If you're not familiar with Blue Kote, you can see it at https://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/blue_kote_wound_dressing.html. Good luck with your chicks.I have 12 3 week old baby isa brown chicks. One recently got pecked in the ear by another one. Then her ear swelled up some so the others did it some. I separated her for a couple days. Put Pick no more on it and some bag balm. It looks swollen below her ear. And when I took the other chicks out of the broader some of the others look a little swollen. But how do I get the others to leave that one alone. But she missing the down below her ears now. Please help!
