I recently bought Barred rock chicks and another breed idk. And a Americana Rooster who I adore. I got introduced to backyardchickens.com from a friend. This is my first time ever to have my very own chickens to raise. My name is Cynthia Belfield and I am 21. I loved chickens when I was a little girl I loved to gather eggs in the morning at my grandma's. I never thought I would ever get any chickens am I am thankful I have them. I just love to hear the rooster,in the morning. I would like to learn more about chickens,and make,friends on here.

You could post on your state thread, that way you may find out other chicken folks are near you. That could lead to 3 dimensional friendships instead of just on the internet.
