Hi I'm new to chickens just started my flock this year! And I have also come back to this site for information!

I have white silkies, porcelain d'uccle, americanas, buff oringlingtons, black austrolopes, Rhode Island reds, partridge Cochin batman, barred rock! I also have 2 bourbon turkeys! I am not done yet lol I want all the silkie colors and polish frizzles!

Those are great breeds! Do you have a favorite yet? My favorite is the buff orpington.

You have a nice mix of breeds. Black Australorps are my favorite standard breed. I've raised them for years (along with dozens of other breeds), and they are extremely hardy, calm and gentle (my children and granddaughter made lap pets of them), and excellent layers of large, brown eggs. :o)
