I'll be ordering some eggs.

I made my first commitment this afternoon. I ordered some vinyl coated hardware cloth for the open area of the pen I intend to build. One small step in the process, but it's a start.

I read somewhere where it is easier on quail's feet. And since most people have wire bottoms on their pens, I figured this would be better. And maybe better in freezing temps. Even though I intend to have a closed in area, too.
