Hello,
We're a young family from semi rural Western Australia. I'm the head honcho homemaker, 'HomesteadingHippy Mumma' of the family.
We live on 90 acres as organically/naturally as we possible can at any given time. We try to extend this to our animals care wherever possible.
We strive to grow and make all we can of what we need to meet our family's needs.
We're getting into our chickens more and absolutely loving the little blighters.
We are interested in preserving and maintaining heritage breeds of animals and plants on our property and are excited to be the new family of 25 fluffy little chicks. The first among many, to be sure. Our hearts have been stolen.
We chose a dozen Australorps, but could only get a hold of 4 Barnevelders this year, 7 pekins for the kids and were gifted a couple silkie chicks for the kids also.
