I got my first set of chickens a week after easter 2009 . I bought 18 chickens ended up with 2 roosters and 16 hens. One rooster died. I have rhode islands,red stars, sussexs, americaunas, plymounth rock , a some white ones no they arent the cornish or the leghorns i think they are the white rocks?. So far I have 1 sussex started laying a week ago. I a few others that is almost ready to start. My kids just loves them too they naned a few of them.
