My pekin is using her left wing to move around. She was fine yesterday so either happened over night or this morning. She seems to be leaning more towards her left so I am thinking she hurt her right leg. I am not sure if she is egg bound though. Her tail is down. Can someone please help me? How can I tell and if she is egg bound what can I do to help her ? I put her in a cage immediately to separate from others and so she can rest. Video below.

Update I did feel around and couldn’t feel and egg or anything. I felt her right leg. It isn’t “hot”. So I am not sure what is wrong

It's very difficult to know what is going on. The video doesn't show much as she is not trying to walk. She does seem unsteady standing.

Did you feel both her legs and her hips? Do all the joints full extend and fully flex as if she were sitting? Do any of her joints -- hip or knee -- seem to hurt her when moved?

Does it hurt her if you push around on her tummy -- low down near her pelvis?

Is she eating and drinking? Is she pooping normally?

Does she spend her nights in the dog crate or is that your sick duck ward?

I felt around. Didn’t seem to bother her much. She is drinking today but hasn’t really eaten yet today. No I do not keep my animals in small cages. I put her in a cage like this when they hurt their legs or are sick so they can be separated and rest. I have very big pens and runs for my animals. I’ll try to get a better video but I didn’t want to bother her too much if it is her leg. Wanted her to try and rest. I felt her leg it is not hot.

what does she have for calcium? oyster shells?
If her tummy feels ok and doesnt seem painful, did you feel both legs and all the joints? Do the undersides of her feet look okay? Any injuries?
What feed is she on?

I didn’t see any injuries on her foot when I checked her out. They eat the country spirit brand duck/geese food. I will have to take a more thorough look and feel around her joints. I just posted another video if you’d like to check that out
