Broody or Egg Bound?

I have had two khaki Campbell ducks for a bit over a year. They were previously separated from my drake and lived with my disabled drake, but he passed away in December and my remaining drake was lonely and sad so I opened up the run and they now live with him full time. One of the two khakis has been limping lately, and is missing feathers on her back between her wings. I believe this is due to the other khaki “mating” her, as they engage in this frequently and have since they reached maturity. But, I also noticed today that she rarely leaves the coop- she’s come out only twice, once when they were let out for the day and then went back in for about two hours. I was concerned, due to the limp and withdrawn behavior so I took her inside to examine her- can’t feel any heat or swelling in her leg, can’t feel any swelling in her abdomen that might be an egg, and noticed a few eggs inside the coop. She also pooped- a lot of times. I gave her a warm epsom salt bath anyway, in which she was cheerful enough, and then I brought her back outside. She went right back into the coop. She came out for a bit to get water, and laid down in the run for a few minutes, but then went back into the coop and hasn’t come out again and it’s been another two hours. We are about to go away for the weekend, so of course I’m nervous. I’ve never had a broody chicken or duck before so I’m not sure if this is normal behavior or if she could be on the way to egg bound and struggling. I don’t see her straining or pumping her tail or walking weird (besides the limp, and this has come and gone in the past so again I feel like that and the feathers missing is due to mating behavior). What does it sound like?

I’ve only had one broody duck, and she is on the home stretch with these eggs.
But just going by mine, it doesn’t sound like your duck is broody.
She would be building a nest and sitting on it only to take small break to eat, drink, poop. However, she could be starting to brood.
Sounds more like she is trying to get a break from the drake.

You might be right- I didn’t see him bugging her too much today (except when I brought her back in to the run after her epsom salt bath and he grabbed her by the neck…) but I had them out in the pool, put the girls back in the run and they were fine, once the drake went in she went back in the coop :( they don’t swim together because I’m worried about what he’d do to them.
