I love the "special" ones. I have too.I agree, give them brewers yeast and vitamins and you should see it clear up. I had a rouen that was havnig trouble walking and wasn't growing. She would fall over like she was drunk and then spin in a circle on her side, throwing shavings everywhere. I started giving her vitamin supplements and now she is fine. She is still a little spastic though. She is my "special" duck.
If you give fresh water more than once a day then just dissolve the niacin each time so they consistantly have it in their water, niacin is pretty inexpensive to use as well. Once you notice a turn for the better then gradually start dropping back till they are only getting it in the first water you put out for them. I have numerous buckets and waterers out for my flock since I have chickens too so if I am having to medicate it has to go in them all. Maybe someone else has a better idea. But don't stop using it when you start to notice improvement.
She came sliding down the ramp to their pool sideways like Bo Duke and running with wings flapping the other day becasue the other four went to the other end of the run. I was LMBO.I love the "special" ones. I have too.
